Plenary Meetings
The plenary meetings of the HoA, which are held biannually, are attended by leaders and representatives of European food safety agencies.
These meetings aim to encourage mutual cooperation and the exchange of experiences and views on good management practices, with the goal of promoting the efficient and effective control and implementation of EU law.
Working groups are set up on a needs base by the HoA. These working groups are tasked with the development of specific “tools” and “best practices” to facilitate and unify the implementation of the EU food law. This greatly facilitates the exchange of experiences and best practices, as well as harmonisation across agencies.
